Last October I had some extra time on my hands so I thought I would get into food photography, digital food photography.  Inspired by such blogs as  Tartelette  ( Tartellette Blog) and Canelle et Vanille (Cannelle Blog) who make it look so easy I made some meager attempts.  Photography is harder than I thought.  I will definitely give it another try more seriously some day, just not today or any time real soon.  I will be happy being the snapshot queen for now.  Here are a few of my best shots from that short lived interest.

It is now officially less than 30 days until the big 3-0, the anticipation is killing me.  I’m ready, let’s just get it over with so I can have some cake.  I never really thought about it but it occurred to me today that I might actually like to make my own cake.  I have been fascinated with ice cream for the last couple of years as my big birthday treat but this year I might make my self some cake.
